As a customer support sales rep, many people will certainly encounter the following question often:
I do not know what to do. I just bought a very nice a movie online in wmv format that I can not open. I tried everything. I consulted all the forums on the subject and followed all the advice. I downloaded Flip 4 Mac, it does not work. I even bought EasyWMV at 11 Euros. Result: it does not work! I finally downloaded VLC and it works but image is blurred full of thousands of all rotten small colored tiles and no sound. I of course tried the Windows Media Player version 9 updateable for Mac OS X. Neni! Nothing at all! What do I do? I don't understand anything!
Thanks!
There are days when I should not meet Bill Gates or Steve Ballmer because I have this very strong and crazy urge to whip them up with a dinosaur rubber (it really hurts, you can ask my nephew). Yesterday, I had to convert movies to WMV companies to be published on the web in FLV. Owners of Windows are likely to laugh as it should be easy on their platform, but I'm on Mac and determined to remain so.
First, I tried Flip4Mac, the free version. I opened my WMV files with QuickTime. With the Pro version, I can export, but the problem is you need to pay money to remove the huge Flip4Mac mark on the resulting video. And, of course, I do not want to spend any of my money to play the wmv. So I also try the free iSkysoft Mac Video Converter, it works same and just like a spell.
