The ThinkPad X220 has really tough structure, but the same tried and boxy design. It is made from magnesium and plastic that makes it durable. It has the dimension of 12 X 9.1 X 1.25 inch, with all these features included in ThinkPad X220, it is still extremely thin and light, when compared with other like ThinkPad x201, HP Elite book 2740p, however 13 inch Mac-Book Air   is much lighter and thinner. The X220 has complete rubberized lid with metallic logo and raven-black sides, bottom and deck.
