Recently, I researched that these little ads that pop up on my computer in random places are called adware. I really want to know if there is anything that I can do about this to get them off of my computer. I have tried some anti adware software. But seemingly it is useless. It's a fine line between adware and spyware, normally adware is a pest with popup and yes, can affect speed and some like to call home if allowed. At last, I have solved my problem from some advice and here want to share with all.
For windows xp, get yourself pest patrol. Adware will always keep returning since most of them are part of webpages. so unless you plan on giving up websurfing, there will always be some kind of adware on your system. You could always set computer security software to be active in the background if you have the retail version.
