Windows 7 and Windows Vista have a very good inline feature to reduce the probability of risky security breaches due to User Account Control (UAC). This system makes the users that have the administrative rights realize only the regular user rights. User Account Control improves the security abilities of Windows 7 and Windows Vista, because no one process that can be executed on your computer (that requires administrative rights) will not run without you personal permission. User Account Control is a very useful system, but when you touch upon the software installation, changes of some settings, any manipulations with mouse or keyboard, this security process can annoy you with the messages like that:
"Windows needs your permission to continue. If you started this action, continue."
So in the cases that enumerated above (we mean the intentional settings or software changes in your computer), you may disable UAC, but after the changes don't forget to enable it again and let it act as the part of the security system of your computer.
In order to disable UAC, do the following if you have Windows Vista:
1. Click Start, then type in the search line msconfig.
2. In the System Configuration choose Tools.
3. Then click Disable UAC and then Launch.
